| Nismah Osman Nismah Osman is a solo artist out of New Jersey who developed interest in music at the age of 13 years old. It is unique that a girl of such a young age already has music on iTunes and has the ability to self promote her own music and get paid doing it. Nismah’s style is of an indie contemporary artist. She plays beautiful acoustic guitar and has a unique young voice. She’s lived a difficult childhood but doesn’t allow her past to influence her future. “My music is something that helped me get through the tough times. I have proven to myself and others that if you want something bad enough, you have the ability to earn it.” Listening to two of her singles, “All That I Am” and “Wish I Was Yours”, represents her unique style of music. It captures your attention and you find yourself looking for messages. Nismah’s voice is soft, yet powerful when needed. These two songs are on her new CD, “I Remember”. The meaning behind “All That I Am” is from the fact that her mother meant everything to her even after all that they went through with her father leaving the family. “Wish I Was Yours” was chosen because of the nature of the song. These two singles also are representative of the CD as a whole as it is part of a journey that Nismah is taking. Nismah Osman has been noted in her local paper for being in a show. She has no plans at this time to tour as she is still in high school.
